Please note: Yatra vouchers will not be issued for reservations made with only a 30% advance payment.
Why don’t we refund the advance amount?
The advance amount is utilized to cover pre-yatra expenses that are incurred before the journey begins. These include hotel bookings, transportation reservations, permits (where applicable), meal arrangements, staff allocations, driver advances, and other logistical expenses that are generally non-refundable.
Chardham Yatra
- Cancellation Over 30 Days Before Departure: 90% Yatra Voucher (valid for 1 year)
- 21–30 Days Before Departure: 75% Yatra Voucher (valid for 1 year)
- 11–20 Days Before Departure: 50% Yatra Voucher (valid for 1 year)
- Less Than 10 Days Before Departure: No voucher will be issued.
- No-show: No refund or voucher.
Do Dham & Other Yatras
This policy applies to Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri, Yamunotri, Panch Kedar, Adi Kailash, Om Parvat, Kailash Mansarovar (India Route), and other pilgrimage packages operated by Himalayan Dev Yatra.
- Cancellation Over 30 Days Before Departure: 90% Yatra Voucher (valid for 1 year)
- 21–30 Days Before Departure: 75% Yatra Voucher (valid for 1 year)
- 11–20 Days Before Departure: 50% Yatra Voucher (valid for 1 year)
- Less Than 10 Days Before Departure: No voucher will be issued.
- No-show: No refund or voucher.
Nepal Yatra
- Over 40 Days Before Departure: 80% Yatra Voucher (valid for 1 year)
- 40–30 Days Before Departure: Only rescheduling allowed – no voucher.
- Less Than 30 Days Before Departure: No refund or voucher.
Customized Yatra
Customized Yatras include private departures, family tours, VIP darshan packages, helicopter packages, or itineraries specially designed as per guest requirements.
- Over 30 Days Before Departure: 80% Yatra Voucher (valid for 1 year)
- 21–30 Days Before Departure: 75% Yatra Voucher (valid for 1 year)
- 11–20 Days Before Departure: No refund or voucher.
- Less Than 10 Days Before Departure: No refund or voucher.
Rescheduling Policy
- Free rescheduling is allowed up to 30 days before the Yatra departure date.
- A 10% rescheduling fee (calculated on the paid amount) will apply for rescheduling between 29–7 days before departure.
- No rescheduling is permitted within 7 days of departure. The booking will be considered canceled and no voucher will be issued.
Yatra Cancellation by HDY
In rare situations where Himalayan Dev Yatra is required to cancel a departure due to natural disasters, road closures, government restrictions, adverse weather, or other unavoidable circumstances:
- A 100% Yatra Voucher (equal to the amount paid) will be issued.
- The voucher will remain valid for 1 year.
- The voucher can be redeemed against any Yatra or tour operated by Himalayan Dev Yatra.
Dropout During Yatra
If a pilgrim voluntarily leaves the Yatra due to health issues, lack of fitness, personal reasons, or any other circumstances:
- No refund or voucher will be provided.
- All additional expenses incurred for transportation, accommodation, evacuation, or return arrangements shall be borne by the pilgrim.

- Registered Mobile Number
- Booking ID (if available)
- Reason for Cancellation
Eligible vouchers will be processed within 24 hours after verification.
